He took me to see Dane Cook live at the Laugh Factory in LA on Saturday July 19th 2008. I was so excited to see him proform live, I mean COME ON, who doesnt enjoy listening to Dane Cook???!! He got us front row V.I.P. tickets, I thought the night couldnt get ANY better....until after the show Dane cook gets back on the mic to say "I'd like to call my buddy Dustin up to the stage" I had NO idea what was going on...engagement wasnt even on my mind WHAT so ever!!! My amazing boyfriend at the time then calls me up on stage and gets down on one knee in front of a few hundred people knelling just feet away from Dane Cook and tells me that he's loved me since the moment he set eyes on me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I happily accepted as I fell to the floor in ABSOLUTE SHOCK!!!! it was breathtaking and so memorable, one of the most amazing nights of my LIFE!!!! Check out the pictures!!!

Greetings and Merry Meet people! I'm a relative newbie to this Pagan-themed site as well as CovenSpace; I discovered both of them just yesterday. So although I am new to these sites, I also have a profile at the Pagan M4M site about a month old and I've also got a LifeOut profile/blog that's about six months old on that site as well. So as you probably already noticed, or in case you haven't, I am a gay man, just felt the need to get it out first and foremost, in case anyone is curious or something. I spent a good 20 years in the closet but moreso in denial because of it than anything else. And because of that wonderful closet I also spent a huge part of that time being alone. Lately though I've come to the realization that more importantly to my sexuality are the friends I make and have instead. I welcome the opportunity to meet n greet any and all the new friends that are willing and able to be a friend of mine. I'd love to chat with the entire pagan world because I felt for a long time that I sort-of "hid' those books but I'm not interested in hiding them either now. I've been going through a kind of reawakening in a sense. I'd been interested in the Pagan world for a long time but lately, all of a sudden I feel like something else is needed; something more; something specific. And I guess that's why I'm here. More than anything else I want to learn! There's a saying that I've gotten from the classic movie "Dune" Without change, something inside dies...the Sleeper must Awaken!". Well more than anything else, I must awaken! I'm tired of sleeping!

Well it's the day before the entry deadline. I'm sure everyone is nervous. I'm excited though. I am wishing on the star hoping we'll get picked to be a finalist. It's one of those once in a lifetime chances. Abraham and I are planning on getting married next November. We won't have the money for a wedding we will just go out to dinner with a couple of our family members and our children. All of our money will be going into the house we are buying. When we got engaged last October we made the decision to use the money to buy a house instead of having a wedding. We are very excited about the house. It will be our home. A home our children can call their own. A backyard for them to play in. It will be a dream come true for us. It's been a long road getting here. Saving the money and making sacrifices. At the end of the night when we are finally in our home, knowing we are sleeping happily in a home that we worked so hard for, it's worth it.

Having a wedding if we win this would be a sweet surprise. Being able to celebrate our love and family is a memory that will be treasured for a lifetime. To see my children all dressed up with smiles on their faces. To wear that one dress that seems to be made just for me. Walking down the aisle on step closer to my future husband. My heart is filled with love and joy. Joining hands, looking into each other's eyes. This is truly a love that will last for eternity. To work hard, give with your heart and love with your soul. Making sacrifice after sacrifice and have that one day where all your dreams are a reality. It's more then words can describe. We hope to be chosen. I would love to have my children hold that special day in their hearts. To finally be Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Cruz will be amazing. We hope our wish is realized this November!

          Muchas personas pasan toda su vida buscando saber cuáles son las leyes o reglas del universo, así que yo he decidido ahorrarles mucho tiempo y dárselas ahora, gratis. Está advertido de que esto se basa en una visión chamánica del universo, en la que todo responde, está vivo y conciente.

          El Universo y todo en él tiene tres aspectos: Espíritu, Cuerpo y Mente. Cada uno de estos aspectos posee sus propias reglas. Cuanto mejor comprendamos estas reglas, más fácil será para nosotros crecer, sanar y pasarla bien.

          El Espíritu tiene una sola regla: "Experimenta la existencia". Eso es. No hay condiciones, deberías, no hay límites y no hay evitaciones.

          El Cuerpo tiene sólo dos reglas: "Busca placer" y "Evita el dolor." Debido a que la manera de hacer esto no siempre es clara en todas las circunstancias, el Cuerpo se moveré algunas veces hacia el dolor, para experimentar algún placer asociado a él sensorial o emocionalmente. Esto ser a como escalar una monta a por el placer del panorama, hacer gimnasia por el beneficio energético o someterse a una cirugía para mejorar. Algunas veces el placer no parece ser una opción, en cuyo caso el Cuerpo tratar de moverse hacia el menor dolor posible. Podemos ver esto en personas que toman hasta enfermar para suprimir el dolor emocional, en gente que se queda con malas relaciones por el temor de no tener ninguna y gente que se suicida violentamente. Luego, están los que se alejan del placer por miedo a algún dolor a él asociado, como el caso de las personas que evitan el éxito por el temor a la crítica, aquellos que creen que el placer es un pecado castigable por Dios y aquellos que creen que el placer nos hace débiles. Pero en general, no obstante, es fácil notar que todo el comportamiento espontáneo, intuitivo y subconciente sigue las reglas de buscar placer y evitar el dolor.

          Qué respecto de la Mente? Wuau!!! La Mente es una fanática hacedora de reglas. Hace reglas -muchas, muchas reglas- respecto de todo lo imaginable. Hace reglas respecto del lenguaje, reglas sobre la religión, reglas respecto del comportamiento, incluso reglas en relación al Universo. Y cuando quiere algo intensamente, bueno, entonces va adelante y cambia las reglas. Así que tenemos cientos de idiomas alrededor del mundo, cientos de culturas basadas en sus propias ideas del bien y del mal, cientos de formas de relacionarnos con Dios, cientos de teorías científicas respecto de cientos de temas, cientos de países con sus propias variaciones de sistemas políticos, cientos de miles de leyes que gobiernan el comportamiento en diferentes sociedades... te haces una idea. Pregúntale a alguien su opinión sobre algo y lo que escucharás son las reglas con las que vive. Pueden llamar a sus reglas opiniones, creencias o hechos, pero sólo son reglas, algunas heredadas, otras prestadas y algunas fabricadas.

          Romper las reglas es engaíoso. Sólo trata de romper las reglas del Espíritu. La no-existencia no parece ser una opción. Y cuando tratas de romper las reglas del Cuerpo generalmente obtienes consecuencias físicas o emocionales severas e inmediatas. El Cuerpo reclama su placer y teme todo dolor, así a la Mente que trate de alterar sus inclinaciones naturales sin una buena razón.

         Existen consecuencias por romper las reglas de la Mente, pero depende de cuáles son las reglas implicadas y de quí es implicado en ello. Puedes romper una regla legal con impunidad si no hay alguien alrededor, a menos que confundas legalidad con moralidad (a veces, ocasionalmente, coinciden). Si rompes una ley moral, una que has aceptado como propia, cuando no hay nadie alrededor, probablemente te castigarás a ti mismo. Puedes romper las reglas del lenguaje, pero te arriesgas a ser malentendido. Puedes romper las reglas de la ciencia cuando quieras, siempre y cuando no estás buscando un subsidio, pero algunas cosas quizás no funcionen de la manera en que tu quieras que funcionen. Puedes romper las reglas sociales de tu grupo, si no te importa ser expulsado.

         Yo no recomiendo romper las reglas. Yo recomiendo usar las reglas del Espíritu y del Cuerpo y jugar creativamente con las reglas y el talento hacedor de reglas de la Mente. Con las reglas de la Mente es mucho má fácil hacer diferentes reglas que tratar de romper las viejas. Las reglas que ya no se usan simplemente desaparecen. Puedes hacer las reglas que quieras sobre cualquier cosa que quieras (no te estoy dando permiso, esto es sólo algo que cualquiera puede hacer). Puedes hacer reglas diferentes respecto de cómo piensas y cómo sientes, y respecto de quí es posible, y de lo que puedes hacer, y respecto de lo que significa el pasado y de lo que el futuro traer . La regla que usas afecta tu comportamiento y tu experiencia. Cambia tus reglas y tu vida cambiar. Quizás es momento de examinar las reglas con las que vives y de crear algunas nuevas.
